The company was founded by late Mr. Kalidas Mistry in the 1970’s, who was posthumously honoured with the award of Innovator in the 41st Indian Pharmaceutical Congress held at Mumbai in 1989 as he was the first man in India to develop the labelling machine and who was responsible for introducing advanced technology in labelling operations in the country. Under his leadership in the last three decades, the company became one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of pharmaceutical machineries particularly for powder filling and labelling machines under the brand name AMBICA®.
Ashok Mistry, son of. Kalidas Mistry is now the Chairman and Managing Director of the company and is responsible for the substantial growth of the company.
